The Lifestyle

BAB is more than a presentation, it’s a way to live. We call it the Brewvement, and students have taken it all over the country.

Even better, they’ve used BAB to change daily choices for the better.

Southern Miss chapter president:

“BAB has completely changed our chapter culture around drinking. We’ve brought them three times now, and it’s different every time.”

SUMMER MENS’ RETREAT

In June 2023, BAB hosted our first mens’ retreat at the Red River Gorge. Attendees brainstormed ideas, grilled meats, and built friendships. The BAB Lifestyle was on full display. Want to join us next summer?

“ Before you came I got blacked out every weekend. I was new to college, it's what you do. BAB opened my eyes to the fact that drinking isn't about getting sloshed, it's about having a good time with the boys. ”

“ I'm the Sig Ep risk manager and I absolutely loved your presentation! My job at the fraternity is to ensure that when guys are drinking and are out at socials having a good time, they are "tastefully buzzed" and not blacked out. My father was an alcoholic (recovered) so I know firsthand the negative effects of alcohol. We need to talk about alcohol differently in order to break the norm of blacking out in order to make better decisions when drinking. ”

“ Beers aren't bad. But sometimes they can suck. I'm a freshman and pledged last semester, and came from a high school with a low-drinking culture. I'm in a big fraternity in a huge state university and was exposed to an insane level of drinking which culminated in several unhealthy, dangerous blackouts. Then I sat through an IFC-initiated BAB event. It completely changed my perspective. I was able to learn how to safely and effectively focus my energy on drinking safely while also still fitting in and having fun, and BAB has allowed me to excel both socially and academically since last semester. I'm incredibly grateful for the support and knowledge that BAB provides both in person and over social media and I am very thankful that BAB has helped change my life. ”

“Y’all are doing great work and changing lives. You all have changed mine for sure. I used to be a pregame warrior one of those guys who never even made it to the party or if I did I sure as hell wouldn’t remember it. I’ve been to numerous alcohol trainings and they never really brought the message home. You guys are doing great things and I hope the world will someday come to know that BEERS AREN'T BAD.”
